Honesty is rooted in a recurring plant form that I return to instinctively- drawn to its fragility, transparency , and quiet resilience. Built through layers of textured acrylic, the surface shifts between softness and abrasion, opacity and exposure. This work moves beyond floral representation. The plant becomes a self- portrait of sorts: a reflection on being unapologetically oneself. Spontaneous and sometimes rough, yet sensitive and vulnerable, the painting embraces contradiction without attempting to resolve it. HONESTY is about presence rather than performance.
