BOOBS is exactly what it says on the surface- and absolutely not just that. Bold, impudent and gloriously unapologetic, this work celebrates the body without asking permission. It’s tactile, sculptural, and deliberately confrontational : Brett’s not as decoration or provocation for others, but as presence. They exist. They take space. They don’t explain themselves. Embedded references, raw texture and flashes of humour collide with symbols of control, judgement and restrictions. The flies - delicate, sparkling , slightly absurd playful details - disrupt the seriousness, reminding us that empowerment doesn’t always arrive politely- sometimes it laughs, smirks, and takes up space. Confident. Messy. Funny. No bra. No filter. No apologies.
Silence here is not weakness but choice. The warrior’s lowered sword suggests reflection rather than surrender - a moment of inner strength before action. In a culture driven by immediate reaction, this work honours restraint, awareness and emotional mastery.

The figure implied in the work is not a hero or a conqueror, but a witness: a silent guardian whose resistance lies in restraint. Prayer here is not religious, but universal - an inner act of awareness opposing violence, hatred, indifference, intolerance , and greed. The painting reflects on the fragility of our world and the responsibility carried by consciousness itself. It suggests that stillness ,empathy , and reflection may be the last remaining forces capable of slowing humanity’s movement toward self-destruction.

Honesty is rooted in a recurring plant form that I return to instinctively- drawn to its fragility, transparency , and quiet resilience. Built through layers of textured acrylic, the surface shifts between softness and abrasion, opacity and exposure. This work moves beyond floral representation. The plant becomes a self- portrait of sorts: a reflection on being unapologetically oneself. Spontaneous and sometimes rough, yet sensitive and vulnerable, the painting embraces contradiction without attempting to resolve it. HONESTY is about presence rather than performance. It does not aspire to be larger or smaller than it is. Instead, it affirms authenticity - accepting strength and fragility as equal parts of the same truth.

Slow Motion was created while listening to music- not as illustration, but as response. The surface moves like sound stretched in time: vertical drifts, softened figures, pauses between gestures.
